Do you have a mile long to do list?
I bet you do! You have so much that is calling for your attention how can you not focus on those things and worry about getting them done. . . .
Have you been having headaches lately?
I’m just asking. I find that long to-do lists can be frustrating and overwhelming, leading to headaches.
Here are 3 ways to simplify your to-do list:
1. Create a routine to do the routine things.
Each day you know there are basic things that need to be completed. Make it fun!! Turn on some music and breeze through it. Since it’s a routine it doesn’t need to be on your list.
2. What can be done in a combined effort?
Stop by the post office after heading to the bank, then grab lunch while you wait for the other thing, pick it up and head home. That group of stuff is done.
Try to keep it all chunked together so you don’t waste time and energy going back and forth.
3. Focus on the priorities.
Keep things from becoming urgent. You have a bill to pay in a few days? Get it situated today so you’re not running around last minute trying to get it done later.
Here’s the lesson: Planning is your best friend. Run your life like a CEO. Keep It Simple and FOCUS! Action makes the difference. White Space keeps you creative and abundant.
